Tradicionalna japonska Sencha je v svetu poznana po izrazitem okusu (umami) in značilni zeleni barvi.

Posebnost Senche je mešanica grenko-sladkega,  je zelo uravnovešen čaj, ki razvaja naša čutila. 

Čaj Sencha pripravimo na sledeč način:

  1. Voda za pripravo Senche naj bo mehka, temperatura pa od 60-80 stopinj celzija.
  2. V skodelico čaja stresemo 3-4 g listov Senche in prelijemo z vodo želene temperature.
  3. Toplejša je voda, bolj grenak in intenziven bo okus čaja.
  4. Ko so listi popolnoma odprti, je čaj pripravljen.
  5. Iz skodelice odstranimo liste.
  6. Uživamo v čudoviti mešanici okusov Senche.

Sencha je edinstven japonski čaj uravnovešenega, kompleksnega okusa, prežet z japonsko tradicijo.

How to brew

Let's take a look at the process of preparing Houjicha:

  1. Start by boiling water. The water temperature for Houjicha should be between 90°C to 100°C.
  2. Use about 3-4 grams of Houjicha tea leaves per cup of water.
  3. Pour hot water over the tea leaves and let steep for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Strain the tea: Use a strainer to remove the leaves from the water.
  5. Enjoy Houjicha.
